[ The boy sounds younger than him even, and Larsa is far too aware that pointing out reality - like that people can be gone from your life in the blink of an eye, regardless of what world one is in - will very distinctly not be a good idea. ]

I have heard that people may come again, even though they have left. It has happened, so, while there are no guarantees, there is hope, as well.
