I want to get myself a sword here but I don't really know what kind to get.

So, uh, what's the best kind of sword to have here? Or I guess... what kind do you have if you have one? Even better if you can show me or something.

[ He pauses for a moment to scratch at his cheek. ]

[ Trunks, why do you bother people with such weird questions? Against her better judgment, Videl decided not to ignore this message buzzing in the back of her mind. ]

Trunks, you can fire ki and fly. What could you possibly need with a sword?

Are you planning on becoming a knight or something?

You know it'd take a lot of training, right? You can't just pick up a sword and be a real knight right off the bat.

Heh, don't worry. I've got offers for people to train me to become a knight. Won't even cost me a cent. Guess I'm too cute or something.

[ He folds his arms, clearly looking proud at that. ]

There are actual knights here? [ That takes her by genuine surprise. ]

Yep. There's probably princes and princesses, too. Just like in my stories.

[ Considering all the weird people in this world, Trunks is probably right. ]

Are you sure you really want to protect a princess? They're pretty annoying. All they do is scream a lot and get captured.

[ And maybe he'll be her hero??? ]

W-Well, yeah, but there's lots of regular people to protect too.

I thought you wanted to be a superhero. [ She's not going to say Gotenks's name; she doesn't want to give Trunks any reason to convince Goten to do that again (even though she's using it in an argument). ]

Well, I guess I could be a knight of the people, right?

[ But then... an idea. ]

Or maybe for Thras. He probably needs protection, too, right?
