image; advice needed

[ There will be a small but very determined looking child peering into the amulet for a couple moments before he feels like the thing is "on". ]

Uh... hi.

[ This is working right? ]

I want to get myself a sword here but I don't really know what kind to get.

[ .... ]

So, uh, what's the best kind of sword to have here? Or I guess... what kind do you have if you have one? Even better if you can show me or something.

[ He pauses for a moment to scratch at his cheek. ]

Uh, thanks if you can help?

[Lonnie reaches over to pull out her rapier from its sheath.]

Something like this? [She brandishes it around before sheathing it again.]

A rapier is lighter and focuses on agility. A sword where you need to hold with both hands can be rather heavy and focuses a bit more on power and strength.

Well, not if you get your sword from a quality blacksmith. The other thing you got to consider is which sword matches your fighting style. It's very important.

Like for example, [Trunks will be getting an image of a different sword in the feed.] this is a jian, which is a double-edged straight sword from China, the country I'm from. People who practice the martial art Wushu use this sword for their fighting style.

[If he wants! Lonnie just wants to be thorough with the information she's sharing.]

That's why you learn about your sword, work hard and train! They do make wooden versions of swords if you're just starting out.

[Lonnie whistles.]

That strong, huh? That's okay! You just don't use your full strength whenever you train using a wooden sword. There's a difference between a toy wooden sword and the ones that are used for swordplay. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to break the training ones.

[That, Lonnie's not sure of. But it's not like she knows how strong a Saiyan could be.]

Uh-huh! [She nods.] It'll take great amounts of strength for someone to break this kind of wood.
